The mesh is fitted with a clipping system to the panels that cover the opening and fans out onto the tiles or roofing material. This completely blocks access to the birds. Edges can be tied off to ensure no access in any place.
We can also clean the solar panels of any waste to help ensure they operate at the ideal level. This is washed off with water and cleaning products.
We recommend leaving solar panel mesh to the experts as climbing on a roof can be dangerous. It is easy to slip and fall, causing terrible injuries to a person. We use a safety harness for these types of jobs.
Bird spikes (seen here) also provide an effective solution to bird control on a roof. These can be attached to key areas to stop birds from landing and soiling the area. They can also be added to windowsills, guttering, carports and anywhere birds roost on homes and businesses.
Additional measures for bird control include reflective devices. The reflective devices can be installed in critical areas to deter birds from nesting or roosting and can be wind, solar or 240 volt powered.
